JOHN GEORGE –

In 2018 John became aware of the healing powers of group grieving. With the passing of his wife, he started attending hospice meetings, often going 3 times a week. He found that in consoling himself, through verbalization, writing and art, he was also comforting others. In 2020, he was asked to attend a child loss group, first as a participant, then as a volunteer facilitator. He continued his journey helping others, guiding them through their grief. He began writing short essays, revealing the depth and scope of feelings that those who grieve share. While navigating his own grief, he found a beautiful and powerful calling, that gave meaning to all his losses.
